We would not typically have this available. However, from time to time, we do have limited supply of items that might be suitable. It is best to telephone and/or call in to our factory to see if we have anything suitable off the shelf. Otherwise you could request a special run. This would however incur a setup fee.

I am trying to match an existing scotia in my home . I only require about 2m, but am finding it extremely difficult to locate any. The profile is concave approx. 35mm with a 15mm edge. The timber is rimu, however this is irrelevent as it is painted. Are you able to assist?

If the moulding is not in our online catalogue then it is unlikely that we stock it. The only reason we would stock an item that is not in our catalogue is if we ran more of a product for a customer and it is awaiting delivery, or an order was cancelled. So there is a very slim chance we may have it but in order to check we would need a photo and/or drawing of the moulding, or you would need to come in with it. We can setup our machines and run the item but it would be expensive to do so for only 2 metres. This advice applies to any moulding not in our catalogue.

Is it possible to buy rough sawn timber which is suitable for indoor multiple use e.g. simple furniture etc. How much would it cost and is it available per metre or length?

We do have rough sawn timber, and depending upon your requirements, i.e. species, we could sell it to you by the metre.

I am wanting to put up a dado rail in my rooms. The timber around the doors/ wardrobes etc is proud by 1/2 an inch. Can you recommend to me which of your mouldings might look best joined up to this?

Because you only have 1/2 inch (12mm) to work with it does somewhat restrict your choice. However we suggest any of the following 016 / 020 / 0104 / 0111 / 0112 or 085 which you can view on our web site under decorative moulds, architraves and skirtings, and trims. You could also bevel off the end of a thicker profile.

This is a specific request that isn't on our catalogue and therefore we would generally be unable to assist. If you require us to manufacture this for you, it would incur a setup fee for small quantities, while larger quantities are more economical. It is possible for us to produce this product but supply of Oak in New Zealand is not generally readily available.
