Customer Question

If I put in a wooden floor and polyurethane it, how do I keep it shiny?

Rickmans Advice

Apply Wood Magic as directed on the bottle. The product is made by Johnsons and can be bought in a supermarket.

Customer Question

Can we use Kanuka as flooring?

Rickmans Advice

Yes you could use Kanuka as flooring, but it is virtually impossible to source.

Customer Question

Is Rickman's timber flooring (135mmx10mm) suitable to lay in bathrooms? Do you have to seal the surface once it's laid?

Rickmans Advice

Yes it is suitable and you ought to seal it.

Customer Question

I am looking for wooden flooring suitable for a bungalow. There is currently rimu flooring in the original area, and there is an extension which has a concrete floor. Please recommend flooring that could be installed on the concrete and is suitable for a bathroom and hall.

Rickmans Advice

It is possible to use rimu to the same dimensions as the original, we can manufacture this to your specifications, however this would incur a setup fee.
